NOC Kosovo marketing strategy – phase two
Continuing the work made during his visit in March, Damjan Pintar visited Pristina again in May to help Mr Besim Hasani and his Team finalize offers and agreements and actively engage in meetings with potential business partners.
With Ms Elda Gjoka busy customizing the level of partnership agreements based on the IOC template to the needs of each potential business partner, some of the most important including NLB Bank, Koha Ditore newspaper, RTK – national broadcasting company and ILLIRIA Life insurance company, Damjan Pintar and Besim Hasani moved on to follow up on the already ongoing negotiations and commence new ones. Particularly successful meetings were held with Mr Sami Ahmeti – the owner of Sirius hotel who agreed to collaborate with NOC Kosovo.
Successful arrangements in the spirit of Olympic Solidarity Movement were made between NOC Kosovo and NOC Croatia. Mr Ranko Četković, Marketing Director of Croatian NOC, agreed that NOC Kosovo delegation could utilize NOC Croatia hospitality rooms during the Rio Olympic Games free of charge.
Apart of the meetings with business managers, Damjan Pintar met and managed to gain the support of Ms Aferdita Paqarada, a respected business women, experienced in organizing found raisings for humanitarian events, for NOC Kosovo. On the other hand, following Damjan Pintar’s advice, NOC Kosovo has decided to hire on voluntary basis a marketing student – Ms. Aurora Berisha. The two ladies representing different levels of experience and knowledge but equally passionate about sports and marketing should make a great contribution to NOC Kosovo, with their first activities already planned around organizing the Olympic Day Run, presentation of the Olympic Team and program for welcome reception of the Kosovo Olympic Team after Rio.
