The 2019 World Para Alpine Skiing Championships are being held in Kranjska Gora Slovenia and Sella Nevea Italy.
The collaboration between D. Pintar and IPC alpine snow sport director, Mr. D. Lazarovski begun in 2012 when they hosted the World Para Alpine ski races in Slovenia. The competitions were held in Rogla and then continued in 2016 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, specifically in #HitAlpinea.
The main organizer of the Slovenian part of the IPC World cups got the honour to co-host the World Championships which is performed in Kranjska Gora Slovenia and Sella Nevea Italy.
The 2019 competition started with the opening ceremony in Kranjska Gora, in the presence of Mr. Andrew Parsons, president of the #International #Paralympics Committee, and will last until the beginning of February.
After finalizing the technical disciplines, which are performed in Slovenia, the competition will move to the neighbouring Sella Nevea, Italy where athletes will compete in speed disciplines.
