Advanced Sports Management Course in Lausanne, Switzerland
May 2nd to 5th, Head of SporTour – Damjan Pintar – attended an ASMC for directors organized by the International Olympic Committee in the city of Lausanne – the capital of the Olympic Movement.
A small group of selected participants – three from Europe, one from Bahrain, one form Cabo Verde, and two from Mongolia – worked together in the IOC headquarters and Olympic Museum seminar rooms providing the most up to date new technologies to gain new skills connected with managing advanced sports management courses.
The whole course was led by Professor Liegh Robinson and Mr Stavri Bello. The program itself and all the materials were prepared by Mrs Joanna Zipser Graves responsible for management programs provided by the Olympic Solidarity. Mrs Graves and her Team proved once again that the work they do is of excellent quality.
Together with Stavri Bello, Damjan Pintar attended also a dinner organized by Angelica Castro from the USOC, where they also had the opportunity to meet Secretary General of the ASPC (Association of Sport Performance Centres) Mr Josep Escoda from CAR, Barcelona.
