New cooperation possibilities and long-term projects
October was a very active month for SporTour in the field of international cooperation. After the visits to Norway and Kosovo, Damjan Pintar held meetings with new, potential partners in Slovenia.
Mr Marwan Maghur, member of the Executive Board of The Mediterranean Games Committee came to Ljubljana to discuss cooperation possibilities.
Following his visit, Mr Jurica Sudac, owner of the company MOBILEone from Croatia visited Slovenia to discuss business opportunities. The company’s main product is an app for content management and sharing on mobile devices (mobile CMS), which enables organizations and individuals to create their ow content without any IT or programming knowledge. Working closely with The Croatian Olympic Committee, MOBILEone has a lot of experience in the sports sector and is currently seeking partners that would help the company enter also the tourism market.
As part of SporTour’s long-term cooperation with the Sri Lankan Judo Federation, end of October young Sri Lankan athletes arrived in Slovenia for a one-month training camp. The athletes are training with one of the best judo coaches in the world and Olympic medallists from Slovenia, Mr Marjan Fabjan.
