SporTour among key note speakers at TAD 2017 conference

Organized by the Faculty of Tourism from University of Maribor » TAD 2017 Active & Sports Tourism, Feel the freedom of water « conference was held from 29.11. – 01.12.2017 in Spa resort Čatež, Slovenia.

Responsible, sustainable and active tourism was the main topic discussed during the 2017 TAD conference by participants and lecturers from Universities from Scandinavia and SE Europe. The conference was opened by professor Johan Richard Edelheim – a global hospitality and tourism educator and expert, currently connected with the University of Stavanger. The second key note was presented by SporTour’s expert Damjan Pintar who talked about how Slovenia developed in last decades several sports related, sustainable touristic products ideal for top athletes due to the country’s both natural and infrastructural capacities.
